QUANTUM OF TZOLIS WILDCARD DISASTER

Quantum of Tzolis post-match radio phone ins were dominated by discussion of the new "wildcard" team brought in by manager Colin Davidson this week - and understandably so, with outgoing Isak, Mbeumo and E.Le Fee flourishing this week and new signings including Jason Steele struggling. The new-look Quantum of Tzolis squad scored 18 fewer points than last week's squad would have done. Compared to their usual standards it was a disappointing 46 point gameweek for the Tzolis.

FREE HIT FAILURE FOR CHAINS

Well, that was unexpected. This week Food Chain FC deployed the "free hit", with manager Tom Glover given free reign to hand-select the absolute best players for this week only. Unencumbered by worries of future fixtures and able to precisely target in form players for this week's games only, Glover carefully selected players including Regan Slater. And yet, the result was disastrous. The one-off team scored 30 fewer points than last week's squad would have done, with the precious Free Hit chip up in smoke as well. The eight free hit squads in the league gained an average of 0 points over the old squads this week.

SUPERB ISAK HELPS TZOLIS CLIMB FIVE PLACES

Quantum of Tzolis were the headline act this week, with Alexander Isak contributing 13 points of a superb 67-point total that lifted them past Haydenators, Food Chain FC, Risking No Salah, Badgiebadge and Dominant Sloppyszlai and up to thirty-first. That leaves them one point off Irn Bruno. "Isak with 13 points," said Gary Neville. "That is the difference." Quantum of Tzolis's form has been "nothing to write home about" so far and Brandon Steenkamp's side are in thirty-first after three matches played.

CHERKI LOOKING OUT OF SORTS AT DOMINANT SLOPPYSZLAI

The highly-anticipated debut of Rayan Cherki for Mani Singh's Dominant Sloppyszlai ended in disappointment this gameweek, with the player contributing just three points. Cherki had been in red-hot form recently, averaging 11 points per game, but failed to replicate that under Singh's management. "It takes time to settle, we know that - but this was underwhelming" said Jill Scott.
