Simply Irresistible fans were unimpressed with this morning's announcement that manager Richard Blackmore has named Erling Haaland "triple captain" for this week's fixture. "It's pretty early in the season to be playing it, to be honest" said fan Marianne Jones - "And I'd have saved it for a double gameweek as well. I hope Blackmore knows what they're doing."

SIX MANAGERS TURN TO WILDCARD
In a short joint statement this morning Gunners Glory, Yma, Food Chain FC, Jacquet Potatoes, Just Brilliant and Badgiebadge announced major changes to their squads, with little further explanation given other than "We're wildcarding". It appears that Bobby Thomas, Maxim De Cuyper and Bukayo Saka were the highest priority targets for the wildcarding managers. Meanwhile, players like Bruno Borges Fernandes and Diego Gómez Amarilla have been shown the door at several of the clubs. Tom Glover was the eagerest beaver, activating the wildcard as early as 7.07pm on Saturday 10th October and was still tinkering by 3.40pm on Friday 16th October. Gunners Glory boss Gunners Girl took a different approach, leaving it as late as 8.35pm on Friday 16th October before springing into action.
