SEPTEMBER MOTM NORTH PUTS NORDI BY NATURE BACK ON TRACK

The season is still young, but Nordi by Nature have started to look like a side with somewhere to be. Andy North's 210 points between gameweeks 3 and 5 were enough for the September Manager of the Month award, lifting the Natures from twenty-seventh to fifth, and enough to get supporters talking in slightly lower voices about what might be possible. "You don't win anything in September," said Alan Shearer. "But you can definitely start making people nervous." Key players for North this month included Haaland (48 points) and Gross (31 points). North made use of the triple captain and wildcard chips in September. The nominees:

Andy North (210pts, 2 transfers made, current rank 5)
Matt Woolcock (205pts, 2 transfers made, current rank 8)
David Hickman (205pts, 3 transfers made, current rank 1)

SEPTEMBER POTM FOR DEALS' HAALAND

We were delighted to host last night's September Player of the Month award ceremony which saw Erling Haaland of Sesko Meal Deal win the top prize, with his manager Jack Simpson also in attendance. Having been signed by Simpson back in gameweek 1, the striker was on fire in September, scoring 57 points for his side in total - the most by any player for a Gert Lush Bristol FPL ML club: GW3 9 points (x3), GW4 9 points (x2) and GW5 6 points (x2). The nominees:

Erling Haaland - Sesko Meal Deal (Jack Simpson) - 57 points
Erling Haaland - 25 teams - 48 points
Erling Haaland - Quantum of Tzolis (Colin Davidson) - 45 points

GROSS JUSTIFY GLOVER SHOPPING SPREE

The recruitment at Slay Queens is the best in the Gert Lush Bristol FPL ML and hardly anyone has noticed, which is roughly how Effie Glover would want it. New arrivals are averaging 10.7 points a game, led by Gross at 10.7; the players sold to fund them are on two. "Our transfers are so sensible I've started to worry," said supporter Caroline Forbes. "Where's the panic buy? Where's the player nobody had heard of? I miss the chaos, a bit." The full shopping list is in the Manager Profiles section.
